chêçêd — goodness, kindness, faithfulness

Cheçed — Hesed = “son of faithfulness”

Genesis 21:23 — “Therefore swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me or with my kith and kin, but will deal with me and with the land in which you have sojourned as loyally as I have dealt with you.””

Genesis 24:12 — “And he said, “O ETERNAL One, God of my master Abraham, grant me good fortune this day, and deal graciously with my master Abraham:”

Genesis 24:14 — “Let the maiden to whom I say, ‘Please, lower your jar that I may drink,’ and who replies, ‘Drink, and I will also water your camels’—let her be the one whom You have decreed for Your servant Isaac. Thereby shall I know that You have dealt graciously with my master.””

Genesis 24:49 — “And now, if you mean to treat my master with true kindness, tell me; and if not, tell me also, that I may turn right or left.””
