ʻÊden — Eden; the primordial garden of God (Genesis 2–3); region of beginning

Genesis 2:8 — “The ETERNAL God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and placed there the Human who had been fashioned.”

Genesis 2:10 — “A river issues from Eden to water the garden, and it then divides and becomes four branches.”

Genesis 2:15 — “The ETERNAL God settled the Human in the garden of Eden, to till it and tend it.”

Genesis 3:23 — “So the ETERNAL God banished them from the garden of Eden, to till the humus from which they were taken:”
